Full description of the position

The Application Engineer supports equipment sales and process design across various industry sectors (e.g., Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Food, or Industrial Manufacturing). This role involves evaluating customer applications, preparing technical and commercial proposals, coordinating product testing, and supporting the full sales cycle from inquiry to order. Essential Duties: * Identify and qualify sales leads through calls, emails, meetings, and trade shows. * Review customer specifications and recommend appropriate equipment and process solutions. * Prepare quotations, proposals, and cost estimates using Microsoft Word and Excel. * Coordinate customer trials and testing activities domestically and internationally. * Maintain CRM records, run sales reports, and analyze market trends. * Support marketing with sales materials, exhibitions, and promotional activities. * Perform additional duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field. * 1+ year of experience working with or selling industrial or process equipment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering. Physical Requirements: * Domestic and international travel (10%-30%). * Ability to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. Salary Range: * $68,334 - $116,133 Salaries will vary and may be above or below this range commensurate with several factors including experience, education, training, location, and merit.
