This position offers year-round employment with opportunities to grow your retail expertise while providing outstanding service in a fast-paced setting. < Responsibilities> * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, offering product recommendations and demonstrations to enhance their experience * Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately * Stock shelves, merchandise displays, and ensure the sales floor remains tidy and inviting for shoppers * Assist with inventory management by stocking new products, conducting merchandise resets, and maintaining accurate stock levels * Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, resolving concerns promptly, and maintaining a positive store atmosphere * Support upselling efforts by highlighting special features or promotions of products to increase sales opportunities * Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone inquiries or follow-up calls < Requirements> * Prior experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales is highly preferred * Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership in a retail environment is a plus * Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers about features and benefits * Bilingual skills are desirable to serve a diverse customer base effectively * Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly phone etiquette and customer engagement * Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and basic retail math for inventory management * Experience working in a grocery store or similar retail setting is advantageous * Ability to handle cash accurately, perform retail math calculations, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their retail career while delivering memorable shopping experiences.
