With locations in Knoxville, TN, Mobile, AL, and Richmond, VA we pride ourselves on supporting athletes from grassroots levels to top-ranked universities across the southeast. Summary We are seeking a Retail and Event Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team at Swim and Tri in Knoxville, TN. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional customer service and promoting our specialized products to enhance the performance of competitive and non-competitive swimmers through both our retail location as well as on-site event pop-up shops. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting appropriate products. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising. * Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. * Provide knowledgeable product demonstrations to customers. * Upsell additional products based on customer needs. * Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly. * Assist with inventory management including stocking shelves and managing stock levels. * Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals. * Qualifications * Proven experience in retail sales or customer service. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. * Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. * Experience with upselling techniques is a plus. * Ability to lift over 50lbs * Knowledge of merchandising principles is preferred. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. * Must have a valid drivers license * Must be able to work weekends If you're passionate about sports and eager to help athletes succeed, we invite you to dive into this opportunity with us at Swim and Tri!
