Looking for an experienced, full time, year-round retail person to join the team at our retail store. 35-40 hours/week. Are you an experienced retail "animal" who loves interacting with people, is attentive to details & a skilled multi-tasker with excellent customer service skills? Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store * Introduce new customers to our signature products * Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties * Upsell products and suggest complementary items to increase sales * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience * Follow phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales or in front of house restaurant service required. * Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math calculations * Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service excellence * Ability to perform upselling and product demonstration techniques effectively * Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately * Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced retail setting * A positive attitude, reliability, and excellent teamwork skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Employee discount * Paid time off Experience: * retail or similar: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: * Manchester, VT 05254 (Required) Work Location: In person
