As our Regional Sales Manager in Libertyville, IL, you will be part of our world-class manufacturing company, which has a 92 year history of feeding, metering and conveying equipment needed in the powder bulk solids industry. You will contribute to the company's profitability and market success by driving sales growth for Meyer Industrial products in the assigned territory and ensuring the sales strategy is aligned with the specific needs of that geographic region. This role requires an experienced B2B sales professional with advanced knowledge of company products & services in the powder and bulk solids industry. Essential Duties/Responsibilities include: * Driving sales activities within the assigned territory * Performing sales forecast, reviewing market analysis, and monitoring pricing objectives * Building strong client relationships * Collaborating with other departments to accomplish service goals * Traveling to annual trade shows and clients for on-site analysis * Negotiating contracts, pricing and service agreements * The ability to manage long and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders * Promoting sales opportunities through a sophisticated consultative marketing process * Analyzing customer requirements and making recommendations tailored to the client * Preparing technical and mechanical proposals To thrive in this role, you feel confident: * Communicating technical information clearly and effectively * Identifying and addressing customer needs and concerns * Working autonomously and taking ownership of your routine tasks * Verifying data with strong attention to detail * Influencing, negotiating, and closing sales * Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and industry expertise * Developing and maintaining relationships * Learning new software Qualifications: * Dry powder and bulk solids industry experience a must * Background in industrial equipment, familiar with industry and product knowledge * 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience * 3+ years of client account management experience in a manufacturing environment * 3+ years of CRM and data analysis experience - Salesforce and/or ERP a plus * 3+ years of contract negotiation experience * Four-year Business Degree * Mathematical and mechanical aptitude to engage meaningfully with clients * A valid driver's license, and ability to drive company van Our ideal candidate is: * Dependable and reliable * A team player * Strong presentation skills * Adaptable/flexible with work that requires shifts in direction * Achievement-oriented at meeting goals and deadlines * Innovative - contributes to tasks that require creativity and critical thinking This position is fully remote for qualified candidates residing 50+ miles from Libertyville, IL. Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is an on-site position that requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
