Job Title: Wellness Sales Associate Reports to: General Manager POSITION: The Wellness Sales Associate is typically the first and last point of contact for current and prospective members. Top-performing Wellness Sales Advisors are friendly, outgoing, and curious individuals who take time to understand the needs and goals of every prospect and member. This curiosity allows them to make informed recommendations on memberships, packages, and retail products. They also help maintain a clean, welcoming, and supportive studio environment. DUTIES:New Member Acquisition and Retention: A successful studio depends on supporting prospective members through the following life cycle: * Booking Appointments * Contact incoming leads promptly to build rapport and schedule appointments for wellness experiences such as infrared sauna or red light therapy * Meet daily, weekly, and monthly booking quotas * Studio Tours & Education * Be knowledgeable about studio products, programs, and pricing * Conduct informative and engaging tours that build trust and support the sales process * Membership Sales * Present the best membership or session package options based on a guest's goals following their introductory session * Meet and exceed sales goals established by the General Manager * Retention * Ensure new members are properly onboarded * Support a clean, safe, and inviting environment to encourage continued member engagement * Studio Operations & Promotion * Assist with daily studio upkeep * Participate in community and grassroots events (such as health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and local partnerships) to promote the studio JOB REQUIREMENTS:Communication & People Skills * Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills in person, by phone, and via email * Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers, clients, and the general public * Strong customer service and phone skills Driven & Eager to Learn * Goal-oriented with the ability to hit sales targets * Ability to learn and use studio software systems * Proficient computer skills * Occasional travel may be required * Must be available for special events and trainings Critical Thinking * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse environment using sound judgment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time * Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, reach overhead, and potentially navigate stairs at locations without elevators * May be required to lift up to 30 pounds * Must have adequate vision (close, distance, peripheral, depth perception) and hearing for in-person and phone interactions COMPENSATION & PERKS: * Competitive hourly wage with consistent, recurring schedule * Opportunity for additional shifts * Bonus and/or commission opportunities based on performance * Retail discount * Free studio membership * Opportunities for growth within the studio, including advanced sales or management roles SKILLS YOU WILL LEARN: Wellness Sales Associates build a strong, marketable skill set that applies not only across boutique wellness and fitness environments but also in a wide range of other industries.
