Location: Birmingham, Alabama (USA) Travel: Regular travel across the United States and Canada required Remote Work Flexibility: We are open to remote work for candidates with strong, relevant experience, provided they can travel occasionally to our Birmingham office for key meetings and team collaboration. As we continue to expand our presence in the North American market, we are seeking an experienced and energetic Senior Account Executive to drive new business development and manage key customer relationships in the region. Position Summary The Senior Account Executive - North America will be based in Birmingham, Alabama, and will be responsible for growing Extruflex's presence across North America by identifying new opportunities, supporting distributor relationships, and collaborating with our technical and marketing teams. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role focused on strategic growth. Key Responsibilities * Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet growth and revenue goals. * Identify, engage, and convert new prospects across key sectors. * Manage and support existing distributor accounts and OEM relationships to deepen engagement and grow sales. * Conduct customer visits, attend industry trade shows, and host product presentations. * Maintain a strong understanding of customer needs, product applications, and market trends. * Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, product management) to support customers and resolve challenges. * Provide regular reporting on sales pipeline, forecasts, and regional performance. Ideal Candidate Profile * Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required with relevant experience. * 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial materials, building products, or manufacturing environments. * Proven ability to manage a territory, develop customer relationships, and close complex deals. * Experience working with distributors, OEMs, or industrial customers across multiple states or provinces. * Self-starter with strong presentation and communication skills. * Comfortable with regular travel (approximately 40-60 nights per year). * Experience with PVC coated fabrics, flexible PVC films, and other industrial fabrics is a strong plus. * Fluent in English (French or Spanish proficiency is a plus). Interview Process * Phase 1: Initial 20-30-minute virtual interview with the HR Manager. * Phase 2: Virtual interview with the Sales Director & HR Manager (1 hour). * Phase 3: Final interview in person with the Global Sales and Marketing Director, held on-site at Extruflex.
