Responsibilities: * Establishing personal goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity and devising strategies to meet those goals. * Maintaining product knowledge of new and pre-owned inventory; understanding vehicle features and describing their benefit to customers. * Demonstrating automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; participating in test drives, comparing competitive models, explaining warranties and services. * Prospecting and following up daily for potential customers. Maintaining consistent rapport with previously sold customers. * Learning to overcome objections, asking for the sale, negotiating the sale, completing lease and purchase agreements, explaining warranties, services, and other dealership products. * Following dealership safety policies and procedures. Requirements: * Previous experience as an automobile salesperson, with a proven sales history preferred. We are however committed to training the right candidate. * Dealership sales experience a plus but not required. * Confidence in your ability to be successful. * Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written. * Professional appearance and outstanding work ethic. * Great attitude with a high-energy personality. * Superior customer service skills. * A desire to work in a commission, performance-based, environment. * Self-starter and self-motivated. * Ability to work well in a process-driven environment. Must have a valid driver 's license, good driving record. Must be able to pass a background test.
