Commercial Lines Account Manager (Hybrid) Location: Detroit, MI Compensation: $65,000-$75,000 annually (hourly, overtime eligible) + bonus potential Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Work Model: * Hybrid role: currently 3 days in-office / 2 remote * Mondays are in-office for team collaboration A well-established, privately owned insurance agency is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to support a growing commercial book of business. This is a service-focused role--no new business marketing or renewal marketing responsibilities. You'll join a collaborative, close-knit team in a newly renovated, modern office, with strong internal support and a true emphasis on work-life balance. What You 'll Be Doing * Service and manage an existing commercial lines book of business * Handle renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and client inquiries * Provide guidance on coverage questions and policy details * Issue and manage Certificates of Insurance * Work closely with Producers and internal service teams * Maintain accurate documentation and follow-through within the AMS * Deliver high-level client service to premium and surplus accounts Note: Processors handle submissions and post-submission follow-up, and a dedicated team assists with claims-related administrative work.
