Overview We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the car buying process. Your expertise in automotive sales and exceptional customer service skills will be key to building lasting relationships and driving sales success. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and provide them with a comprehensive overview of available vehicles. * Assess customer needs and preferences to recommend suitable vehicles. * Conduct test drives and explain vehicle features, benefits, and financing options. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the automotive market, including new models and industry trends. * Utilize software tools for inventory management and customer relationship management (CRM). * Follow up with potential buyers through phone calls and emails to nurture leads. * Collaborate with the finance department to facilitate smooth transactions. * Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. * Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques. Experience * Proven experience in sales, preferably in automotive or retail environments. * Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships. * Familiarity with retail math to assist customers with financing options. * Proficiency in using software tools related to sales tracking and inventory management. * Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with potential customers. * Previous experience in outside sales is beneficial but not required.
