Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, maintaining the sales floor, and contributing to the overall success of the store. Responsibilities * Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized assistance. * Sell products effectively through knowledgeable recommendations and upselling techniques. * Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking merchandise as needed. * Supervise and assist in training new staff members to uphold company standards. * Communicate product information clearly to customers, enhancing their shopping experience. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. * Stock and maintain inventory * Check orders for accuracy * Maintain a professional customer experience * Work hours Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (or when the last customer leaves) and 1-2 Saturdays per month 8:30am to Noon (or when the last customer leaves) Skills * Proven sales skills with a strong ability to upsell products. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Experience in retail sales is preferred but not required. * Proficient in cash register operations and cash handling procedures. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking and merchandising. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. * Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds. * Be able to frequently work in freezers/coolers Join us in creating an inviting shopping atmosphere where customers feel valued and appreciated!
