Duties * Engage with customers both inside the store and through outside sales efforts, understanding their needs for flooring. * Provide detailed layout design consultations * Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos, highlighting quality, durability, and aesthetic appeal of flooring options. * Manage account relationships through effective communication skills, negotiation, and account management strategies to foster repeat business. * Coordinate with clients on project timelines, installation schedules, and after-sales support to ensure seamless experiences. * Promote marketing initiatives by educating customers about new products and current promotions to drive sales growth. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining a positive shopping experience. Requirements * Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales within the renovation or construction industry is highly desirable. * Strong knowledge of flooring products combined with familiarity in layout design software and flooring specific software * Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to upsell effectively while prioritizing customer needs. * Multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases. * Solid understanding of remodeling processes, interior design principles, and maintenance considerations related to flooring * Exceptional communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial for broader client engagement. * Organizational skills that enable efficient management of stock levels, project timelines, and customer accounts. * Knowledge of marketing strategies relevant to retail environments within the home improvement sector. * A proactive attitude with high energy levels eager to build lasting client relationships through high-end sales techniques.
