Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Accounts Manager / Secretary to join our team! This vital role combines the responsibilities of managing financial records with providing administrative support. Responsibilities will be focused on accounts payable/accounts receivable, customer account management, payments, deposits, and ensuring proper and timely payments on vendor accounts. Duties * Audit and process invoices, statements, cash sales, and customer payments daily. * Supervise and maintain accurate records of general ledger accounting. Balance sheet reconciliation, customer payments, accounts payable / receivable and aging accounts. * Match checks to corresponding invoices and post payments daily. * Resolve discrepancies in customer orders, vendor invoices, statements, and payments. * File monthly sales tax reports, fuel tax reports, annual tax forums. * Generate and send customer invoices daily, weekly, and monthly as needed. * Answer and route calls, emails, and inquiries in a timely, professional manner. Skills * Must be skilled in Excel and Quickbooks * Ability to problem solve and be self motivated to find the answers you need. * Must be a team player, motivated and teachable. * Must have flexibility to switch tasks as assigned.
