Overview We are seeking a friendly and motivated Sales Associate to join our retail team. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs * Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties * Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits * Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities * Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking activities * Ensure shelves are well-stocked and organized according to company standards * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly * Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and inventory counts * Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries * Support supervisory staff with supervising team members when needed Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environment preferred * Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic retail math skills * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written * Ability to perform upselling and product demonstrations effectively * Bilingual proficiency is a plus to serve a diverse customer base * Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly demeanor * Experience supervising team members is advantageous but not required * Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently * Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail sales best practices is desirable * Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $12.00 per hour Work Location: In person
