Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, supervising staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service within the grocery store environment. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage various operational tasks effectively. Duties * Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve store sales goals and objectives. * Supervise daily operations, including managing cash registers and overseeing transactions. * Assist in recruiting, training, and developing new team members. * Monitor inventory levels and assist with budgeting to ensure optimal stock levels. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. * Collaborate with management to implement promotional strategies that enhance sales performance. * Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. * Support payroll processes by accurately tracking employee hours and attendance. Requirements * Previous experience in a store setting or retail environment is preferred. * Strong supervisory skills with experience in leading a team. * Proficiency in cash register operations and handling financial transactions. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Knowledge of budgeting principles and inventory management practices is a plus. * Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. * Experience as an assistant manager or in a similar role is advantageous. * A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
