Eastown Distributors is a beer distributor that services all of Detroit and some of Downriver areas with our office being located in Highland Park. We have a wide variety of brands and styles of beer from suppliers such as Molson Coors, Heineken USA, Constellation Brands, etc. We are looking for people that want to learn more about the wholesale and beer industry and help us be our vendors best consultants. The On Premise Account Manager position requires you to drive your own vehicle to and from 40-50 different accounts in our territory per week. Account Managers are responsible for taking inventory and writing orders based off sales history and insight from our vendors. Account Managers are expected to build relationships, introduce new product, rotate product and organize back stock areas. Applicants should be able to work extra days around major holidays. They should also be deadline oriented, have good communication and problem solving skills. Requirements: * Must have at least 1-year sales experience. (Wholesale or Beer Sales Experience Preferred) * Cicerone Certified Beer Server (Not Required but Preferred) * Must be computer literate with the to use software applications * Must be proactive and open to new ideas * Must have excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills and be able to work in a team environment. * Must be able to build excellent customer relationships. * Must have the ability to fact find and present solutions to retailers. * Must have a personal planning process and be a self starter. * Must get approved by Michigan Liquor Control Commission for a salesperson license (Background check) * Must be capable of lifting 20-50 lbs.
