Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated Sales Account Manager to join our clients team in their Pittsburgh office. Our client is a leading supplier of advancement materials with a catalog of 170,000+ materials such as metals, polymers, alloys, ceramics etc. used in science, manufacturing and research with over 75 years in business. The Sales Account Manager will support existing customers as well as develop new customers throughout the United States. This is a direct hire, full time, office based position with the starting salary of $50,000 - $60,000/year plus commission, medical benefits, 401k, etc. and will require occasional travel to customer locations (approximately 20% travel) as well as some oversees travel to our clients headquarters in the United Kingdom. Responsibilities: * Develop and execute sales plans to expand business opportunities within new & existing customer accounts * Educate new customers on company capabilities * Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities * Identify new business opportunities through client research and networking * Build & maintain relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing solutions Additional Requirements: * Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Science related field (ie: Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering) highly preferred * Exceptional personality and communication skills * Familiarity with CRM platforms for managing customer data and sales pipelines * Ability to perform warm calling effectively to engage prospective clients * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid time off Work Location: In person
