Full description of the position

A growing Automotive Group is actively searching for an experienced dealership General Sales Manager. This candidate should have a working knowledge in new and used cars, inventory management, and customer retention. The General Sales Manager is expected to uphold high ethical standards, have excellent customer service, and create a positive sales environment. Responsibilities: * Identify coaching needs and promote training opportunities * Hire, mentor, and monitor the performance of department managers * Set an example of professionalism through actions and appearance * Ensure target revenues are met or exceeded * Responsible for managing profitability in both the new and pre-owned vehicle departments * Assist in developing and managing an effective advertising and marketing plan * Responsible for developing a productive relationship throughout the dealership * Be the biggest promoter of customer service index (CSI) throughout the dealership * Maintain a positive and ethical working relationship with all employees, manufacturers, lenders, vendors, and customers Qualifications: * Proven track record of achieving goals * Outstanding communications skills * Professional appearance and work ethics * Excellent organizational skills * Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record * Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen Job Type: Full-time Pay: $120,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Ability to Commute: * Seattle, WA 98155 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Seattle, WA 98155: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
