Regional Sales Manager Location: Pella, IA Department: Sales Reports To: Director of Sales Job Summary: Ring-O-Matic, a leading manufacturer of vacuum excavators, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager. This role is responsible for managing and growing sales within an assigned territory, developing strong relationships with key customers and distributors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in territory sales management, preferably within the construction or heavy equipment industry, and will be passionate about achieving sales targets and expanding market presence. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve territorial sales targets and expand market share. * Identify and build relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners within the territory. * Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within the territory. * Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and participate in trade shows and industry events. * Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses to senior management. * Work closely with other departments, including engineering and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and product quality. * Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve revenue goals. * Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in territory sales management, preferably in the construction or heavy equipment industry or relevant experience. * Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a high-performing sales territory. * Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs in the vacuum excavator industry. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. * Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory. * Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
