Job Overview / Description: Assisting walk-in customers with product needs and questions. Processing cash and charge sales for material pick up. Answering general phone calls and e-mails. Utilize the showroom to help customers make product selections. This role is vital due to the first impression our customer receives when coming to Allegheny MillworkLumber. Responsibilities and Duties * Answering general phone calls and e-mails * Processing cash and charge sales for walk-in traffic * Scheduling deliveries * Special order processing * Always prospect for new business opportunities * Continue to expand on product knowledge * Stocking shelves and maintaining the showroom Qualifications / Skills * General knowledge of construction and /or building supply industry * Familiarity with POS (point of sale) systems and the ability to learn new technologies * Excellent communication skills * Cheerful working attitude * Outstanding customer service skills * Ability to work a flexible schedule * Ability to upsell * Ability to stand most of the day and lift 50lb.
