Job Title: Bilingual Sales Associate (Spanish/English) Location: Furniture Mecca (408 Penn Street) Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and bilingual (Spanish/English) Sales Associate to join our team in a fast-paced furniture store environment. The ideal candidate will assist customers in both English and Spanish, handle transactions accurately, and maintain a clean and welcoming sales floor. Key Responsibilities: * Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs in both English and Spanish * Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately using the POS system * Educate customers about ongoing promotions and financing options * Maintain knowledge of products to effectively upsell and guide purchasing decisions * Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and well-stocked * Assist with inventory management and basic merchandising * Resolve customer issues professionally and escalate concerns when necessary * Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations Requirements: * Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken required, written a plus) * Experience working in high ticket sales roles (furniture, car, appliance) * Customer service or retail experience in furniture environment * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed * Basic math skills and comfort using POS systems * Positive attitude, punctuality, and a team-oriented mindset Job Type: Full-time Pay: $500.00 - $2,000.00 per week Experience: * Furniture sales: 1 year (Preferred) * Retail sales: 2 years (Required) Ability to Commute: * Reading, PA 19602 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Reading, PA 19602: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
