Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. Responsibilities * Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately * Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries or demos * Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods with proper cash handling procedures * Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities * Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays * Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and product placement * Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly * Maintain phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors over the phone Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments preferred * Proficiency with POS systems and basic retail math skills * Strong communication skills, including clear phone etiquette and customer interaction abilities * Ability to upsell products and perform product demos effectively * Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly * Excellent customer service orientation with a friendly attitude * Basic math skills for balancing registers and handling transactions confidently This role is vital in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers while supporting the overall success of our retail operations.
