A well- established financial services organization in Geneseo, NY , is seeking a dedicated Account Support Representative to assist with account delinquency outreach, repayment coordination, and detailed recordkeeping. Please note, this is an in-office position. Candidates MUST be within commuting distance of Geneseo, NY. Hours & Pay * Pay: $17.20-$17.75 per hour + monthly bonus opportunities * Training Schedule: * Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM * Friday: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM * Post-Training Flexible Schedule: * Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-9:00 PM * Friday: 8:00 AM-7:00 PM * Choose an 8-hour shift within these windows * One evening shift (until 9 PM) is required per week * Employment Type: Temp-to-hire, in-office only Benefits As a Staffmark employee, you will receive weekly pay, medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k), short-term disability, employee discounts, and free staffing services. Daily Tasks * Contact individuals with delinquent accounts to discuss repayment options * Make outbound and inbound calls with professionalism and accuracy * Conduct skip-tracing to locate updated contact or employment details * Negotiate payments or escalate more complex cases appropriately * Document all interactions clearly while following the scripts verbatim * Verify account details for special circumstances, such as disability or bankruptcy * Ensure compliance with state, federal, and internal guidelines * Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs Requirements * High school diploma or GED * Minimum 1 year of collections experience * Strong reading comprehension, communication, and typing abilities * Comfortable navigating modern office systems and data tools * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to follow structured procedures and work independently * Must be within commuting distance of Geneseo, NY (in-office only) Ready to Bring Clarity and Confidence to the Customer Experience?
