Assistant Manager - Fur Street Pet Salon & Daycare Full-Time | Part-Time Fur Street is looking for a motivated Assistant Manager to help lead our grooming, daycare, cat boarding, and puppy training programs. This leadership role supports daily operations, staff, and customer experience while ensuring pets receive the highest level of care. Responsibilities include: * Opening and closing the facility, including end of day cleaning and safety procedures * Assisting with check-ins, check-outs, and scheduling * Supporting staff training, cleaning protocols, and daily workflows * Helping manage grooming schedules, daycare enrichment activities, cat boarding and puppy training programs * Communicating with pet parents about their pet's day, behavior, and needs * Assisting with inventory, records, and administrative tasks * Covering staff call-outs by stepping in to assist with bathing, reception, and daycare duties as needed * Resolving customer questions, concerns, or complaints in a calm and professional manner * Creating or assisting with social media updates and client communications as needed Qualifications: * 2+ years experience in animal care, grooming, daycare, kennel, or related field * Leadership or supervisory experience preferred * Strong communication and organization skills * Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes * Ability to work in a fast-paced, active environment Physical Requirements: * Able to lift up to 50 lbs * Comfortable standing, walking, and handling active dogs throughout the day Compensation & Benefits: * Supplemental health benefits including Dental, Vision, and Short-Term Disability * Employee discounts * Paid time off * Position includes a 90-day introductory (probationary) period Join Fur Street and be part of a passionate team dedicated to providing safe, fun, and enriching care for every pet.
