Diversified Sourcing Solutions is looking for a Bilingual Counter Sales Representative for one of our clients in North Houston. As the Counter Sales Representative is the first point of contact for customers visiting our showroom or calling in for product information. This role blends customer service, product knowledge, and order coordination. Youll guide customers through flooring options, prepare quotes, process orders, and ensure a smooth, positive experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities * Greet walkin customers and assist them in selecting flooring products based on their needs, style preferences, and budget * Provide accurate product information, including features, installation requirements, and availability * Prepare quotes, invoices, and sales orders using company systems * Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally * Coordinate with warehouse staff to check inventory, schedule pickups, and arrange deliveries * Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom and counter area * Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business * Stay informed about new products, promotions, and industry trends * Resolve customer concerns or escalate issues when necessary * Support outside sales staff with product information, pricing, and order processing Qualifications * Previous experience in counter sales, retail sales, or customer service (flooring or building materials experience is a plus) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to learn product details and explain them clearly to customers * Comfortable using pointofsale systems and basic computer applications * Detailoriented with strong organizational skills * Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment * Reliable, punctual, and teamoriented * Bilingual English/Spanish Physical Requirements * Ability to stand for extended periods * Occasionally lift or move products up to 4050 lbs * Navigate showroom and warehouse areas as needed Compensation: $17 All employees must be prepared for a background check, 10 panel Drug screen and show proof of eligibility to work in the US.
