Job Description

: Mel's Trading Post is the Northwood's number one sporting goods store for over 70 years! We have a passion for helping people enjoy the outdoors. Mel's is looking for a friendly, outdoor loving, and passionate associate, who desires to help create an outdoor experience that leaves the customer desiring more.

Responsibilities

include but are not limited to the following:

• Customer service
• Product entry
• Merchandizing
• Inventory
• Working with a point-of-sale system
• Stocking inventory

Qualifications

:

• Friendly
• Loves to be outside
• Effective interpersonal/customer service skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and coworkers
• Detail oriented, organized
• Self-starter, motivated, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and people skills, adaptable, team player
• Problem-solver, learner
• No retail experience is required
• Ability to bend and lift 50 lbs
