About GenSystems At GenSystems Power Solutions , a division of Jereh North American Group , we design and manufacture advanced mobile and stationary power systems integrating gas turbines, generators, electrical distribution, and hybrid energy solutions. We serve global industries--oil & gas, utilities, and data centers--by delivering efficient, reliable, and scalable power generation equipment. Position Summary: The Vice President of Sales will oversee all revenue-generating activities for Gen Systems, focusing on accelerating growth in the natural gas turbine, battery energy storage (BESS), and integrated onsite generation markets. This leader will manage strategic sales planning, key account management, and expand market penetration into both emerging and established markets, including AI/data centers, oil & gas, industrial manufacturing, utilities, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate is a strategic closer with a proven track record in complex, multi-million-dollar industrial and energy infrastructure sales, who can operate at both the executive vision level and hands-on deal execution level. This role demands a leader who can both build new markets and optimize existing revenue streams. Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Strategic Planning * Develop and implement a multi-year sales plan aligned with corporate goals, market demand, and industry trends. * Lead and grow a high-performing sales team, providing clear KPIs, coaching, and performance management. * Design and enforce sales playbooks tailored to different verticals (AI/data centers, energy infrastructure, oil & gas). * Establish pricing structures, margin targets, and commercial models to ensure competitive positioning and profitability. Market Expansion & Business Development * Identify, prioritize, and capture new market segments, including hyperscale data centers, large industrial operations, and utility-scale energy projects. * Develop and maintain an active, qualified pipeline of opportunities exceeding annual revenue goals. * Analyze industry shifts (AI power demand, battery technology, natural gas infrastructure policy) to anticipate emerging opportunities. * Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and government/energy forums to drive brand visibility. Key Account Management & Strategic Partnerships * Serve as the primary executive contact for major clients and partners. * Lead C-suite-level negotiations for multi-year, high-value contracts. * Build strategic alliances with EPC firms, technology integrators, utilities, and OEM partners to expand reach. * Maintain high retention rates by proactively managing customer relationships and delivering exceptional service. Cross-Functional Collaboration * Partner with engineering to translate technical capabilities into winning proposals and value propositions. * Work with operations and project delivery teams to ensure flawless execution post-contract. * Provide customer insights to inform product development, service improvements, and innovation roadmaps. Sales Operations & Process Optimization * Oversee CRM utilization, ensuring accurate forecasting, pipeline tracking, and reporting. * Analyze sales data to identify performance gaps, process inefficiencies, and training needs. * Implement strategies to shorten sales cycles and increase close rates. * Maintain rigorous compliance with corporate policies, industry regulations, and contractual requirements. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA strongly preferred. * 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in B2B industrial or energy infrastructure markets, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role. * Proven record of closing complex, high-value deals (>$5M) in power generation, distributed energy systems, or battery storage markets. * Deep network within AI/data center operators, oil & gas majors, EPC contractors, and utility providers. * Strong negotiation, executive communication, and contract management skills. * Ability to lead national and international sales initiatives and travel up to 40%. Preferred Qualifications * Experience integrating policy, investment, and regulatory strategy into sales execution. * Track record of scaling sales operations during periods of rapid company growth. * Familiarity with energy storage technology, natural gas turbines, and hybrid power systems.
