As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing an exceptional shopping experience, ensuring that our customers leave satisfied with their purchases. This position requires a proactive approach to sales and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Duties * Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner. * Maintain knowledge of products and promotions to effectively communicate with customers. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions. * Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure the store is visually appealing. * Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management. * Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the customer experience. * Supervise junior staff when required, providing guidance on best practices in retail sales. Experience * Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not mandatory. * Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to better serve our diverse customer base. * Familiarity with retail math concepts is beneficial for managing transactions and inventory. * Experience using POS systems is advantageous for efficient transaction processing. * Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members effectively. * Basic math skills are necessary for handling cash transactions and inventory counts.
