Residential HVAC Technical Service Advisor (TSA) Location: Philadelphia Region Type: Full-Time Position Summary The Residential HVAC Technical Service Advisor (TSA) provides technical support and training to residential HVAC contractors and internal sales teams. This role serves as a technical expert on residential HVAC equipment, installation best practices, troubleshooting, and warranty support, helping contractors resolve field issues and improve system performance. Key Responsibilities * Provide phone, counter, and field technical support for residential HVAC equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, ductless systems, and thermostats * Assist contractors with diagnostics, startup issues, error codes, airflow, refrigerant charging, and electrical troubleshooting * Support proper installation, setup, and commissioning per manufacturer requirements * Assit with technical training for contractors and internal teams * Assist with residential warranty troubleshooting and documentation * Support sales teams with equipment selection, applications, and accessory recommendations * Serve as a liaison between contractors and manufacturers for technical issues Required Qualifications * 3+ years of residential HVAC field experience * Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, airflow, and refrigeration systems * EPA 608 Certification * Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals * Strong communication and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications * NATE Certification * Experience with variable-speed, inverter, or communicating systems * Prior distributor, manufacturer, or technical support experience Physical & Work Environment * Branch, training room, and light commercial & residential job-site support * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. * Local travel as needed Why Join Us * Stable distributor environment * No on-call or overnight service work * Opportunity to train, mentor, and support contractors * Competitive pay and benefits Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Health savings account * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
