Job Overview Under the direction and supervision of store management, this position is responsible for supporting front counter and sales staff to ensure customers receive prompt, efficient, and positive service. This role plays a key part in maintaining product availability, assisting customers with large or heavy items, and keeping the showroom and warehouse organized and presentable. Duties The functions and duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: * Assist front counter and sales staff by locating, retrieving, and delivering merchandise to customers in a timely manner. * Carry large or heavy items (salt, sand, liners, chemicals, etc.) to customers' vehicles upon request. * Ensure sales floor shelves and displays are fully stocked, organized, and presentable at all times. * Assist the warehouse manager with keeping the warehouse orderly, organized, and accessible. * Maintain a clean and professional showroom environment, ensuring products are clean, properly packaged, merchandised, and stocked. * Assist in maintaining clean employee and customer-facing areas, including the breakroom, bathrooms, water testing station, and front counter, following the provided cleaning checklist. * Assist with the upkeep of display pools, spas, pool lot, and exterior store areas as needed. * Provide courteous, respectful service to all customers, coworkers, and management. * Report to work on time and prepared for all scheduled shifts. Qualifications * Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally with assistance from coworkers or mechanical devices. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. * Ability to safely operate a hand truck (dolly) to move product. * Ability to remain on your feet and work in a busy, customer-focused retail environment throughout the day. * Handling, storage, and use of certain pool chemicals is required.
