Full description of the position

Reports To: CFO Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview This is a newly created position focused on expanding the Sales department and driving revenue within the Door & Gate Operators industry. We are seeking an experienced sales professional with strong technical knowledge who can support new business development, technical sales, and long-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate is motivated, independent, and customer-focused, with the ability to combine technical expertise and sales skills to achieve results. This role offers a competitive base salary, commission and bonus opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package following a 90-day probation period. Key Responsibilities * Sell Door and Gate Operator products and related services * Build credibility and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and manufacturers * Prospect for new customers and business opportunities * Accurately document customer activity and discoveries in the CRM system * Drive sales volume through proactive outreach and follow-up * Meet with prospective customers to present products and services * Conduct product presentations, training sessions, and learning events * Deliver exceptional customer service and support customer retention efforts * Educate customers on current and future product offerings * Prepare quotes, sales orders, and successfully close deals * Manage customer lifecycle from prospect to active account * Monitor customer and industry trends to identify demand and opportunities * Reactivate dormant accounts (18 months or older); reactivated accounts are commission eligible * Maintain consistent communication with existing customers via phone and email * Ensure accurate, up-to-date customer records and documentation * Participate in weekly meetings with management to review performance and goals Core Competencies & Responsibilities * Hands-on experience installing Door and Gate Operators * Strong understanding of system hardware, components, and accessories * Knowledge of installation tools and best practices * Ability to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance by phone or email * Customer-service driven with a problem-solving mindset * Persuasive, goal-oriented, and results-focused * Strong organizational and time-management skills * Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment * Professional, respectful, and team-oriented attitude * Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities Required Skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities * Excellent decision-making and organizational skills * High attention to detail * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong interpersonal and customer service skills * Intermediate computer proficiency * Self-motivated with a professional demeanor Physical Requirements * Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, and communicate verbally * Frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds * Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds * Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities Knowledge & Experience * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer applications * Experience using CRM systems * Strong technical knowledge of relevant tools and technology * Understanding of standard business policies, procedures, and practices Compensation * Base Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year Benefits**(Available after 90-day probation period) * 401(k) with company match * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Vision insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off Supplemental Pay * Commission pay * Bonus opportunities * Monthly bonuses * Performance-based incentives IND2
