Job Summary The Outside Sales Consultant is responsible for developing new business, maintaining strong customer relationships, and maximizing rental and sales revenue. This role includes equipment demonstrations, preparing bids and contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers * Prospect and grow a network of potential clients through calls, in-person visits, and online outreach * Prepare rental/sales proposals, bids, contracts, and ensure proper documentation (COIs, payments, etc.) * Provide product recommendations and assist customers in selecting the right equipment * Demonstrate a wide variety of equipment and coordinate deliveries * Analyze market trends and competitors to identify new sales opportunities * Support marketing initiatives, store displays, and brand awareness * Maintain accurate sales reports and customer records * Collaborate with mechanics and branch teams to ensure timely service and equipment availability * Resolve customer concerns and support after-sales service Qualifications Required: * High school diploma or GED * Minimum 1 years of experience in construction equipment related sales (internal or external), or Building & property-related sales (Real Estate Development, Building Management, Security System, Solar/Energy System, HVAC, etc) *Architecture, design & engineering sales *(Interior Design Products, Architectural Product, Engineering Support, etc) * Strong technical understanding of equipment and ability to demonstrate use * Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities * Must be able to work 40-50 hours per week and travel off-island as needed * Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract Preferred: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field * Construction equipment rental/sales experience * Experience with Alert POS or similar systems * Forklift and aerial lift certifications Skills & Competencies * Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability * Professional, personable, and customer-focused demeanor * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment * Solid computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) * Ability to lift up to 90 lbs and work both indoors and outdoors Alliance Personnel Hawaii [please apply online] | (808) [please apply online] < Equal Employment Opportunity Policy> Alliance Personnel provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
