In addition to competitive pay, we offer our associates the following benefits: * Health, Dental & Vision Insurance * Life and Disability Insurance * 401(k) plan with company match * Employee Stock Purchase Plan * Employee Vehicle Purchase Program * Professional work environment, with job training and advancement opportunities * Responsibilities: * Meet and assist the customer in a courteous and professional manner, providing them with the information they need * Assist technicians, service advisors, and the sales department in identifying, locating, and obtaining the correct automotive parts for repairs or maintenance * Manage parts inventory, shop supplies, and maintain accurate records using inventory management systems * Process orders, receive and stock incoming parts, and ensure inventory is stocked in the correct location * Maintain the parts department in a clean and organized manner * Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date * Answer telephone calls promptly and provide professional service ensuring the customer's needs are met * Inform customers of any current specials * Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors * This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and a solid understanding of automobiles to ensure efficient and accurate service for both internal and external GP1 employees * Qualifications: * Automotive parts department experience is preferred * Excellent customer service skills * Professional appearance and work ethic * Ability to work well in a process-driven environment * High school diploma or equivalent * Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record * Group 1 Automotive* , a Fortune 250 company, is a leading operator of automotive dealerships and collision centers across the United States and United Kingdom.
