*Business Development Manager - Chemical & Refining Overview Privately owned valve repair and remanufacturing company seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industrial services provided to the chemical & refining industry and have a proven track record of building strong relationships with key customer decision makers. The position also requires good organizational skills, ability to recognize and qualify opportunities, articulate opportunities to management, operations, and other sales team, and to develop tactical plans to win, execute, and maintain future work. Duties * Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives. * Identify potential clients and market opportunities through research and networking. * Leverage strong relationships with existing accounts to expand services by cross-selling new services and expanding existing relationships to new contacts and locations * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention. * Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable business deals. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to align strategies and maximize growth potential. * Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning efforts. * Manage projects related to business development initiatives from inception through execution.
