Duties * Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience * Assist customers with product selection, answering questions, and offering personalized recommendations * Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities * Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing * Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the store is clean, tidy, and well-merchandised * Manage inventory levels by stocking new products and conducting regular stock checks * Maintain professional phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries * Support merchandising efforts by setting up promotional displays and ensuring products are attractively presented Skills * Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures in a retail or store setting * Knowledge of Firearms * Demonstrated experience or ability to lead by example on the sales floor * Strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers * Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, discounts, and inventory counts * Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction * Knowledge of merchandising standards and stocking procedures to keep the store appealing and organized * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor * Familiarity with phone etiquette for professional communication with customers and team members * Experience conducting product demos to educate customers about features and benefits This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
