As a Financial Advisor at NYL, you will work directly with clients to understand their financial goals and provide tailored financial planning solutions. You will be responsible for acquiring and managing client relationships, analyzing financial data, and recommending suitable investment strategies. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct comprehensive financial planning with clients, including retirement planning, investment management, tax planning, and estate planning. * Build and maintain a client base through networking, referrals, and community engagement. * Analyze clients' financial situations and develop personalized financial plans. * Educate clients on financial concepts and products, such as life insurance, annuities, mutual funds, and retirement accounts. * Stay updated on market trends, financial products, and industry regulations. * Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics. * Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Qualifications: * Obtaining the necessary insurance licenses, including completing pre-licensing courses and passing state exams, is required. New York Life provides support for this process. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills are key for engaging clients and providing solutions. Prior sales or customer service experience is helpful. * Uphold ethical conduct and confidentiality. * Self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently while meeting sales targets are essential. * Stay informed and open to learning in a dynamic industry. * Collaborate effectively with colleagues for shared success. * Follow industry regulations and company policies.
