Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Route Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a designated route, delivering products to customers, and ensuring exceptional service. You will play a key role in building customer relationships, driving sales growth, and maintaining inventory levels. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive a commercial vehicle along a designated route to deliver products to customers in a timely manner.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through excellent customer service and effective communication.
• Upsell additional products and services during customer interactions to maximize sales opportunities.
• Manage inventory levels on the truck, ensuring products are stocked according to customer needs.
• Handle pricing inquiries and provide accurate information regarding product offerings.
• Perform basic math calculations for order processing and invoicing.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential new customers and expand market reach.
• Assist with heavy lifting of products during deliveries as required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales or customer service roles is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with customers.
• Experience in route driving or commercial driving is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as part of daily responsibilities.
• Basic math skills for handling pricing and inventory management tasks.
• A positive attitude with a strong desire to succeed in a sales environment.
