As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing transactions, and maintaining an organized sales floor. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in locating products. * Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling. * Utilize retail math skills to assist with pricing, discounts, and inventory management. * Stock shelves and maintain product displays to ensure the store is visually appealing. * Conduct product demos to engage customers and promote new items. * Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions and sales to effectively inform customers. * Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance the customer experience. Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory. * Strong cash handling skills with experience operating a cash register. * Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management. * Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. * Familiarity with retail math concepts is beneficial for effective pricing strategies. * Ability to perform product demonstrations confidently and engagingly. * Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and satisfaction. * A proactive attitude towards upselling products based on customer needs.
