Summary As a Retail Sales Associate at Philadelphia Candies, you will be an integral part of our team, providing exceptional customer service and promoting our wide array of handcrafted chocolates. This position is vital to our mission of delivering quality products made with love while ensuring a delightful shopping experience for our customers. Hourly pay plus tips paid weekly. These positions are responsible for on-site operation of a Philadelphia Candies retail shop, ensuring that staff, product, and shop operations are handled in accordance with Philadelphia Candies' guidelines and corporate philosophy in the areas of sales goal achievement, customer service, cost control, visual merchandising, policy compliance, and safety. Hours and Availability Dayturn Associate (Full Time) Role: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5:00 PM schedule Proven success in developing, motivating, training and coaching employees Proven ability to grow the business by seeking sales opportunities and developing a sales-driven team. Nights / Weekends Associate (Part Time) Role: Availability 2 - 3 days per week Monday - Friday 5:00 PM - 9 PM Saturday / Sunday 9 AM - 3 PM or 3 PM - 9 PM Preferred Qualifications: Previous retail experience, ideally 3+ years retail management and/or sales associate experience in a high volume, fast paced environment. Required Qualifications: Physical ability to carry out the essential functions of the job, including packing candy, stocking shelves, ringing sales, standing or walking the entire shift and lifting up to 25 pounds. Responsibilities * Assist customers with product selection and provide knowledgeable recommendations. * Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system and cash register. * Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed. * Handle cash transactions securely and efficiently, adhering to company policies. * Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, both in-person and over the phone. * Support promotional activities and assist in merchandising efforts to enhance product visibility. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high customer satisfaction levels. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. * Strong communication skills with a focus on customer engagement. * Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. * Familiarity with POS systems and retail math is advantageous. * Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
