Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist with sales, manage inventory, and maintain the overall appearance of the store. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and credit card payments. * Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and ensure the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift. * Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure products are readily available for customers. * Provide knowledgeable assistance on product features, benefits, and promotions to enhance sales opportunities. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards. * Keep the sales floor clean and organized, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. * Proficiency in operating cash registers and handling cash transactions. * Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales reporting. * Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. * Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. * A proactive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration within a retail environment.
