Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist with sales, manage inventory, and maintain the overall appearance of the store. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and credit card payments.
• Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and ensure the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift.
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure products are readily available for customers.
• Provide knowledgeable assistance on product features, benefits, and promotions to enhance sales opportunities.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards.
• Keep the sales floor clean and organized, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating cash registers and handling cash transactions.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales reporting.
• Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
