We have 12 dedicated employees consisting of outside sales, inside sales, service technicians, accounting and warehouse operations. Our office and warehouse are located east of downtown Houston. What do we do? As a packaging distributor, we provide high quality, nationally recognized products in the industrial packaging, marking/coding and labeling fields. We sell and service industrial ink jet printers, label printers, strapping machines, stretch film machines, stenciling machines and all the consumables items associated with these systems. Our products are sold into virtually all industries. Our customer base includes, industrial manufacturing, contract packaging, petro chemical, oil/gas, tubular/pipe, metals, household goods, energy, construction and food/beverage industries. We serve Texas and Louisiana with a large customer base. Job Description*;* Inside Sales Representative / Customer Service Representative Job Purpose*;* Serves customers by providing product and service information; selling new products, resolving product, delivery and service problems. Assist with ecommerce management, and marketing outreach campaigns. Candidate qualities ; * Good work ethic with lots of initiative * Computer competency: Microsoft Excel, Word, and Data entry/ ERP software * Experience with B2B, B2C, Ecommerce Management, and LinkedIn * Good phone skills, good listener * Self-Motivated * Organized * Good interpersonal communication skills * Gift to gab, enjoys talking with customers, vendors and colleagues * Willingness to learn * Easy to work with * Follow up skills, persistently staying with customer orders to completion * Problem solver Job Duties : * Account Management of company clients, we have over 700 customers, providing red carpet, top-notch customer service. Proactive and friendly with all customers. * Taking Phone Call orders and email orders, entering and processing them into company software. Inside sales representative / CSR can expect to receive 10-15 calls per day, another 12-20 emails per day. * Updating and managing the products on ISSI's website through our DDI platform. * Posting monthly on LinkedIn for marketing outreach/ Brand Awareness. * Active order management, open orders reviewed and followed up to ensure shipment. Communication with client status weekly. * Learn company products and how customers use them. * Answering customer product questions, sales order questions, following up with vendors to make sure items have shipped. * Prepare daily customer invoicing, preparing invoices for mail, email and portal client invoices. * Maintain customer contact records in company software, DDI. * Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customers complaints; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution. * Participate in training of products and sales skills, applying what you have learned. * Prepares quotes for customers. * Collaborate with our outside sales for customer and product needs. * Collaborate with service department to coordinate customer repair requests. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. * Serve as backup to Sales Manager Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Application Question(s): * Why do you think you'd be a good fit for this role?
