Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Store Manager and Retail Sales Associate to join our Total Wireless by Verizon team. In this role, you will assist customers with cellular service activations, recommend the right wireless plans, smartphones, and accessories, and ensure a positive in-store experience. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, meeting sales goals, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. The ideal candidate is personable, detail- oriented, and an excellent communicator. Bilingual abilities are a strong plus to better serve our diverse customer base. Responsibilities * Warmly greet customers and assist with their shopping needs. * Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashier functions. * Understand customer needs and recommend suitable wireless plans, devices, and accessories. * Stay informed on current carrier promotions, plans, pricing, and product updates. * Assist customers with activations, upgrades, bill payments, SIM swaps, and basic device troubleshooting. * Demonstrate phone features and help customers set up new devices. * Upsell and cross-sell products to increase overall sales. * Maintain strong visual merchandising standards and ensure products are well organized. * Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking and inventory management. * Consistently work toward achieving individual and store sales targets. * Handle all cash register operations with accuracy and integrity. * Maintain store cleanliness, organized displays, and a welcoming shopping environment. * Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate complex issues when needed. * Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business. * Provide professional phone support for customer inquiries and remote assistance. * Support daily store operations through clear, effective communication with team members and management. Qualifications Required * Associate degree or Bachelors Degree or equivalent. * Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to learn wireless plans, device features, and activation processes quickly. * Basic understanding of smartphones, tablets, and mobile accessories. * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment. * Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to multitask and handle customer issues professionally. * Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions. Preferred (Nice to Have) * Experience in wireless retail industry will be valuable (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Metro PCS, Cricket, Boost). * Bilingual (especially Spanish) to assist a diverse customer base. * Familiarity with carrier portals and activation systems. * Ability to troubleshoot common device or network issues. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $11.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week Work Location: In person
