Advance your career in the New Year, join the Flegal Insurance Personal Lines team! Stable, growing, 100-plus year old, family-owned, independent insurance agency located in Rossville beside the John Ross House is seeking a full time Personal Lines Customer Service Specialist/Account Manager. The ideal candidate will have a current P&C insurance license and at least 2 years of experience providing exceptional customer service to personal insurance clients. The individual selected for this position will work with the Personal Lines Manager and another Personal Lines Customer Service Specialist/Account Manager to provide quality service to a book of existing personal lines customers. This individual must be a team player, highly organized, open to change, and able to problem solve quickly. The applicant must possess exceptional communication skills to effectively speak with clients, prospects, co-workers, management, underwriters, and other industry professionals. Accuracy is essential as the applicant must efficiently handle the fast-paced daily workflow of quoting and processing of new and renewal business, billing, claims, policy changes, logging activities and suspense, etc. The applicant must be enthusiastic, cheerful, and professional in phone, email, and in-person interactions. Experience on Vertafore/AMS 360 or a similar paperless agency management system is highly preferred. Pay is based on experience. Sales experience is desirable as this individual can also earn commissions and bonuses through sales to new and existing clients. This position is located at our Rossville office and office hours are 8:30-5:00 Mon-Thu & 8:30-4:00 Fri (closed 12-1 daily for lunch). Some hybrid scheduling is possible on Fridays.
