Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services with enthusiasm and professionalism * Demonstrate product features through engaging demos to enhance customer understanding and interest * Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing * Upsell related products or accessories to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction * Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stocking practices * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience * Follow proper phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear and courteous communication Experience * Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key! * Supervising experience is a plus, especially in managing team members or training new staff * Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math is highly desirable * Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases effectively * Experience with grocery store operations or familiarity with grocery retail environments can be beneficial * Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation, are essential for success in this role Join us to become part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional service while growing your career in retail sales.
