Overview NEW LOCATION OPENING JANUARY 2026 MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER: A fun job for fun people! Nights and weekends are a must, (we all work them). Must be comfortable with the store environment, products in the store, and talking about store products. Tattoos, piercings and wild colored hair are acceptable! We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and the ability to drive sales through effective communication and product knowledge. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers while supporting the overall operations of the store. Duties * Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and needs. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately. * Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. * Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are stocked appropriately. * Assist with stocking shelves, managing inventory levels, and conducting regular stock checks. * Utilize effective phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries over the phone. * Apply basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations during transactions. * Foster a welcoming atmosphere by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the store. Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. * Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers. * Experience with merchandising techniques and product stocking practices. * Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to assist a diverse customer base. * Supervising experience is a plus, showcasing leadership abilities within a team setting. * A proactive attitude towards upselling products and enhancing the customer experience.
