Job Overview We are seeking a high-energy, industry-savvy Regional Sales Manager to lead our expansion across the Texas market. This isn't just a sales role; it's an opportunity to leverage your deep roots in the Texas food and bakery landscape to put our products on more tables. The ideal candidate understands the unique rhythm of the tortilla business-- from managing high-volume retail accounts to navigating the complexities of DSD networks and distributor partnerships. If you have a proven track record of growing food brands in Texas State, we want to talk to you. Key Responsabilities: * Market Expansion: Drive year-over-year growth by securing new placements in major Texas retail chains (HEB, Walmart, Kroger, etc.) and independent Hispanic grocery accounts. * Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain high-level relationships with key distributors and foodservice partners specialized in the bakery sector. * DSD Management: Oversee and optimize Direct Store Delivery (DSD) routes to ensure product freshness, optimal shelf positioning, and consistent merchandising standards. * Sales Leadership: Develop and execute localized sales strategies that account for Texas's unique regional demographics and consumer preferences. * Performance Analytics: Monitor market trends and competitor activity within the tortilla/grain category to identify white-space opportunities. Requirements * BA Degree * Industry Experience: Minimum 5+ years of sales/managerial experience specifically within the food/beverage industry , with a strong preference for bakery or tortilla manufacturing. * Texas Market Knowledge: A deep understanding of the Texas retail landscape and established connections with regional category managers. * Results-Oriented: A history of meeting or exceeding volume and revenue targets in a fast-paced, perishable-goods environment. * Communication: Fluent in English; bilingual (Spanish) is a significant advantage given our core customer base and production environment.
