We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Engineer that has experience or knowledge with the following: * Engineer, Procurement, Construction (EPC) * Mechanical Engineering * Electrical Engineering * Controls and Automation * PLC/ HMI functionality * SCADA Programming and Configuration * Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings * Ability to generate sales leads Markets that we are currently working in or could work in include: * Oil and Gas - Upstream, Midstream, Downstream * Industrial * Maritime * Government * Aerospace * Renewables * Manufacturing * Food and Beverage * Commercial Qualifications: * Bachelors or Associates Degree, preferably in Engineering or Business Management *Preferred technical degree: Industrial Distribution, Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering * Understanding of general contracts, purchasing principles, and policies * Ability to excel in a high visibility position * Proficient in Microsoft Applications * Successful account management experience * Self-motivated, proactive and flexible * Ability to apply math skills and critical thinking * Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Excellent written and verbal communication Work Remotely * No Job Type: Full-time Pay: $47,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Education: * Associate (Preferred) Experience: * Sales: 5 years (Preferred) Language: * English (Preferred) Location: * Houston, TX 77040 (Preferred) Ability to Commute: * Houston, TX 77040 (Preferred) Willingness to travel: * 50% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
