The Opportunity We're seeking an experienced Sales Associate with the ability to serve as Party Coordinator to partner with our Store Manager in running day-to-day operations. While retail experience is a necessity as we continue to establish a culture based around exceptional customers, team building within our employees, and knowledge of the LEGO brand, we are also seeking employees eager to host parties in our party room. This is a unique opportunity that involves strong customer service involvement but also provides the ability to coordinate and entertain guests through our parties, further establishing a positive culture that comes with being a part of our store. What You'll Do * Provide Exceptional Customer Service : Approach all customers with a willingness to greet and serve as needed, as well as a desire to go above and beyond * Promote The Brand : Assist in creating exciting social media posts promoting our product as well as establishing the BAM brand to all parts of Seattle and local vicinities * Create Magic : Model outstanding customer engagement and help every visitor discover the joy of LEGO * Build Culture : Help create an environment that is just as fun to visit as it is to work at * Grow Sales : Cater to the needs of all customers with the intent of driving profitable sales * Support Events : Help coordinate birthday parties and special events that create lasting memories What We're Looking For Required: * At least 1 year retail experience performing similar tasks * At least 1 year of experience coordinating parties, childcare, or similar roles, ideally within a retail setting * Ability to handle a point of sale register * Capable of multitasking between different customer parties and duties * Strong communication and organizational skills * Experience with inventory management and loss prevention * Customer service excellence with a passion for creating positive experiences * Must provide availability to work up to 20 hours per week (does not mean you'll be scheduled for 20 hours, but 20 hours of availability must be given) * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Preferred: * Previous sales experience, in particular, front of house sales * Specialization in fields beyond traditional sales responsibilities, included but not limited to party organization, childcare, babysitting, and other similar roles * Interest in LEGO, toys, or hobby retail * Identifying and pricing LEGO figures What We Offer * Ongoing Support : A strong foundation of assistance from the owner and manager to help you reach all your goals within the store * Competitive Compensation : Salary commensurate with experience * Fun Environment : Work in a place where play and professionalism meet * Employee Benefits : Details to be discussed during interview process Ready to Build Something Amazing?
