Sales Associates are responsible for enthusiastically providing assistance to retail customers with in-depth product knowledge and outstanding customer service. This person needs to be ambitious, self- motivated, enjoy working with people and able to function in a fast-paced environment. They will have good listening skills and be willing to follow a sale process. They will completely understand the features, benefits and advantages of every appliance available. They will have good communication skills and will keep accurate records of customer information, transaction history and follow up on prospective and completed client sales. About K &A K&A Appliance has been family owned since 1976. Buying predominantly new but scratch and dent appliances from various manufacturers & selling them on both wholesale & retail levels, K&A has been experiencing continued growth & success in the scratch & dent appliance industry. K&A is also a top-ranked Repair Service Provider of major household appliances within the Lancaster County community. Hours of Operation Monday - Thursday 9:00am to 5:30pm Friday 9:00am to 7:00pm Saturday 9:00am to 4:00pm Sunday - Closed Schedule * 8 - 10 hour shifts * Working 5 to 6 days a week, 40 to 50 hours a week * Closed Sundays and 6 Major Holidays Benefits * Paid vacation time * Paid holidays (We are closed during 6 major holidays) * 401k retirement plan with company match up to 5% * NO-Company-paid-Health-Insurance offered at this time Education and Skills Requirements * A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. * Previous retail, sales and/or hospitality experience a major plus. * Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Extremely personable, positive, and approachable with fantastic customer service skills are required. * Physically, they must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and able to lift up to 50 pounds. * Saturday hours are required. * May need to help load appliances into customer vehicles. Expected Income: We will establish an hourly pay for when training, to then switch to an adjusted hourly rate plus sales commissions.
